Privacy Policy

Motionpad keeps your work on your computer. Projects, uploaded images and music, and editor settings are stored in your own browser, and videos are rendered there too. None of it is sent to us — except what the AI assistant needs when you choose to use it (see below).

• When you buy: your name, email address, billing address, VAT number if you give one, and what you bought — to deliver the licence and credits, send receipts and invoices, and keep the accounts the law requires. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations (bookkeeping).
• Your licence: your licence key and how many AI credits you have used, kept with your purchase record, so the Service can check your licence and balance. Legal basis: contract.
• Emails: your email address, to send your licence key after purchase and when you ask to recover it. Legal basis: contract.
• When you use the AI: your instruction, the project (its text, layout, code and the names of your uploads — not the files themselves), and, when you let the AI check its work, stills of the result. They are sent to our AI provider to produce the edit and are not stored by us. Legal basis: contract.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request details) to run the Service securely. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security.

We don't sell personal data or use it for advertising. We use these providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Stripe — payments, tax calculation, receipts and invoices.
• Anthropic — the AI assistant (Claude). Under its commercial terms, what you send isn't used to train its models.
• Resend — sending licence-key emails.
• Our hosting provider — serving the website and the Service.

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Motionpad uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. It stores your projects and your licence key in your browser's own storage, only so the editor works — that is strictly necessary and needs no consent. Stripe's checkout pages set their own cookies to process payments securely.

• Purchase records: seven years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires (bokföringslagen).
• Your licence and credit balance: as long as your licence is valid.
• AI requests: not stored by us.
• Server logs: a few weeks at most.
• What's in your browser stays until you delete it — we can't see or delete it for you.

Data in transit is encrypted, licence keys are cryptographically signed, and access to our provider accounts is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data.

You can ask for access to your personal data, and to have it corrected, erased, restricted or handed over to you, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@ketryon.com. Some data we must keep by law, such as purchase records. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Motionpad isn't aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly process their data.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and say so on this page.
