Terms

Motionpad (motionpad.studio and its editor, together “the Service”) is provided by Ketryon AB, org.nr 559551-1030, Eskilstuna, Sweden (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@ketryon.com. These terms apply whenever you use the Service; by using it, or buying a licence or AI credits, you accept them.

You can design in the editor for free, with no account. Your projects, uploads and settings are saved in your own browser, not on our servers. That keeps them private, but it also means clearing your browser data deletes them — keep your own copies of anything important.

Videos can be up to 90 seconds long. To buy anything you must be at least 18, or have a guardian's consent; if you buy for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

The licence is a one-time purchase (999 kr including VAT) that lets you export videos from Motionpad in every format, for as long as we offer the Service, including future updates. It comes with 50 AI credits.

• After buying you get a licence key, saved in your browser and emailed to you. The key is how the Service knows your purchase — keep it safe; anyone with it can use your licence and credits.
• A licence is for one person. A company buys one licence per person who exports with Motionpad. Don't publish, share or resell your key.
• We may revoke a key that has been shared publicly, bought fraudulently, or whose payment is refunded or disputed.
• If we ever close the Service, we'll announce it at least 90 days ahead, so you can export what you need.

The AI assistant runs on credits, because every run costs us real compute. Each run deducts credits based on the processing it actually used — a whole video built by the AI is typically about 30 credits, a small edit a few. You can see your balance in the editor.

• Credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase they came with. Unused credits then expire.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, exchanged or refunded once used.
• The AI can make mistakes. Review what it makes before you publish it.

Prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. You get a receipt and an invoice by email. Businesses in the EU can enter their VAT number at checkout, in which case VAT is handled by reverse charge where it applies.

As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases made online (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). The licence and AI credits are digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you ask us to start delivery right away and confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal (chapter 2, section 11, point 11 of that act).

Even so, if Motionpad doesn't work for you, write to hello@ketryon.com within 14 days of buying: we'll refund a licence you haven't exported with, and credits you haven't used. A refunded purchase is removed from your key.

This doesn't limit your rights under Swedish consumer law if the Service is faulty.

Your projects, uploads and exported videos are yours. They stay in your browser and render on your own computer; we don't host them. When you use the AI, the content it needs (your instruction, the project, and stills of it when you let the AI check its work) is sent to our AI provider to produce the result. You give us permission to process it for that purpose only.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload — images, logos, music — and to anything you publish.

• With a licence, you may use exported videos commercially: as ads, on your site, in launches and for clients, on any platform, for as long as you like.
• The music and sound effects are generated by Motionpad. We grant you a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them in videos made with Motionpad — not to extract them and sell or distribute them on their own.
• What the AI assistant makes for your project is yours to use under these terms.
• The fonts in the editor are under open licences that allow commercial use.

Don't use Motionpad to make or spread content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, deceives people, harasses or incites hatred, or depicts real people without their consent. Don't:

• try to get around the licence or credit checks, or share keys;
• overload, probe or attack the Service, or use it to reach other systems;
• resell the Service or its AI as your own product.

The AI assistant is Claude, by Anthropic; using it also means following Anthropic's Usage Policy.

The Service — its software, design, name, the Motionpad clapper and its content other than yours — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you rights to it beyond using the Service.

We keep improving Motionpad, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll post it here at least 30 days before it takes effect. What you have already bought keeps what it included.

We provide the Service with care, but as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or projects lost from your browser's storage, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

None of this limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

You can stop using Motionpad at any time. We may revoke a licence or credits for a serious breach of these terms — such as fraud, sharing keys or abuse — and will refund where the law requires.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If something goes wrong, contact us first at hello@ketryon.com — we'll try to put it right. As a consumer you can also take a dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), whose recommendations we follow. Otherwise, disputes are settled by Swedish courts. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country they live in.
